Technology and Life Update

Since you all seemed to enjoy the last one for reasons far beyond my comprehension. (I re-read it, and frankly don’t quite understand the fascination. The poetry is much more enjoyable. But perhaps the technology issues are more relatable?)

Anyway.

I got my adapter and was able to get it without dad noticing. *Whew* Note to future self: I will pay more attention to my children if they are living in my house. I will also not make unreasonable demands upon my children, such as insisting they deal with highly stressful things last minute, or not listen to reason when I tell them I want something done in a short amount of time. (No, my dad didn’t do it to me, but he did to my brother)

Yeah, so the battery is charged without a lot of hassle (YAY!) but I still haven’t gotten the printer and computer reconciled. A heroine’s work is never done.

As far as life goes, I spent the evening worshiping God at youth group (turns out beauty and the geeks was just a theme. They divided the room into the girls (the beauties) and the geeks (the guys). We totally won, of course) and in the company of my very good friend and the boy I like, Jonathan. He wasn’t as funny as usual, going on and on about anime and manga (which is probably something I should familiarize myself with more, given the friends I hang out with) but it was still just nice to be with him.

I am tired of being stuck in limbo around him, though. I want to move on one way or the other. And it does seem to be lessening somewhat. But God is never in the rush I’m in to move on to the next thing . . .

I think I’m glad (and everyone else is too) that I am not God. =)
